This is a reprint book volume which consists of 2 books: The Colonial Coins of Vermont published originally in 1920; and The Vermont Coinage published originally in 1870. The Vermont Coinage book's original publication was limited to 50 copies. Hillyer Ryder describes (among other highly interesting information) 31 varieties of Vermont cents, while Edmund Slafter provides an excellent (and very detailed) description of the Vermont coinage.
